Trying to get a feel for what the Eagles are going to do next week after the official start of Free Agent season, I've come upon some real brain-teasers... Although they say the camel is a horse designed by committee, I'm turning to the Bored for help.Darryl Tapp is not technically a free agent...yet...but he would need to have a breakout year at DE to justify my keeping him at $3.75 milz...just one of the puzzling situations for me, especially since you cannot just release Darryl without incurrring a $1 milz "dead money" hit against the cap. Don't worry, I like Darryl Tapp in the DE rotation...a lot...and he's been a model citizen in the local community. Great guy.But with Phil Hunt and Cedric Thornton in the wings at $1 milz each, maybe it's time to seek a restructuring of Tapp's contract if he wishes to remain a member of the 2012 Eagles?See, these are the kinds of variables in which I am trapped as I try to mock out what the Eagles are going to...

First, get the notion out of your heads: Peyton...
Despite several reports suggesting the contrary, the Philadelphia Eagles are content heading into the 2012 NFL regular season with QB Michael Vick under center. In the meantime, current and former players...
Andy Reid sat down with Les Bowen of the Daily News and discussed a bunch of things, including Peyton Manning. We already know Ray Didinger thinks the Eagles should go after #18, but what about Reid?

Fallen College Football Star, Marcus Vick finally turned himself in to the Newport News sheriff Sunday night.
The 27-year-old Newport News native and younger brother to Philadelphia Eagles star quarterback Michael Vick had been sought on a bench warrant for repeatedly failing to appear in court to answer to a two-year-old traffic charge. Now he’s serving 10 days for contempt; with...
Peyton Manning will wear the horseshoe no more.
It doesn’t matter what team you ordinarily write about or root for. Today, you write about Peyton Manning, the soon-to-be former Colt.
No, he’s not retiring. He’s facing the fate of so many in the national football league, usually to much less pomp and circumstance: He is being cut by his team.
Some of the tributes that have...
Before anyone goes crazy, Didinger says he does not think the Eagles are in the running. With that said, he does believe it makes a ton of sense.
If Jeff Lurie really is the risk-taking, outside-the-box owner that he professes to be, he should sit down with his cabinet today and say, “Let’s talk about this.” You don’t get the chance to bid on an all-time great...
