DeMarcus Ware warned opponents on Monday who were looking to feast on a Cowboys defense beset by injury.
“My body recovers really fast,” Ware said, via ESPN. “I’m not going to be out that long.”
How long Ware will be out remains a question as the time table has ranged from missing Sunday’s game against Philadelphia to missing four weeks of action. The defensive end did seem to rule out playing against the Eagles.
“It wouldn’t be 100 percent if I had to go out and play right now,” Ware said. “There wouldn’t be a point to this day. If I had to play, I wouldn’t. I couldn’t get off the ball.”
Ware suffered a pulled quadriceps early in Dallas’ win over division rival Washington.

Adam Schefter is reporting that injuries of thie nature are generally a 3-4 week recover. Demarcus Ware isn’t so sure about that. “I don’t think so,” Ware said, via the Dallas Morning...

The news out of Dallas is not the greatest, but the Cowboys are going to need others to step up. The good thing is the Eagles defense is awful. They cannot stop anyone, so expect a huge game from Romo. If the Cowboys can somehow get pressure on the Eagles QB, it could be another […]
DeMarcus Ware said even if he were to play this week at Philadelphia he wouldn’t be able to get off the ball like he should.
“If I go out there it wouldn’t be 100 percent” he said Monday at Valley Ranch. “No question. There wouldn’t even be a point.”

DeMarcus Ware will most likely miss the first game of his career on Sunday.
It looks as if DeMarcus Ware will miss as many as four games with a quad injury. Assuming he misses Sunday’s game at Philadelphia, it will be the first time he has missed a game during his career.
That means the last time that the Cowboys played a game without Ware was the season finale in 2004 against...

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Dallas Cowboys DE DeMarcus Ware is expected to miss three to four weeks with a strained quad.
Typically, strains don’t require multiple weeks to recuperate, so this appears to be a fairly serious injury for Ware. It’s worth noting that Ware has never missed a game in his NFL career, which further suggests he has a concerning injury.
The Cowboys lost a key part of each side of the ball on Sunday. Defensive end DeMarcus Ware and Running back DeMarco Murray each left the Cowboy’s game in the first half. Ware pulled his quad muscle while Murray suffered a sprained MCL; neither was able to return to the game. Ware has labeled himself […]
