Watch: Jordan Love's third interception dashes Packers' hopes on 'MNF'

It wasn't a great game for Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love. In fact, "Monday Night Football's" contest between the Packers and Las Vegas Raiders was an awful, no good, terrible game for the young quarterback.

Even so, Love had a chance to show off the clutch gene he displayed against the New Orleans Saints a few weeks ago. His Packers got the ball back with 1:55 to go in the fourth quarter with one timeout. They were down just 17-13 thanks to Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson's second missed field goal of the night.

Love had a chance to be a hero, and for a few plays it looked like he had head coach Matt LaFleur's offense humming toward a game-winning touchdown.

And then, disaster struck as it did two times already. Love threw his third interception of the night — this time being picked off by cornerback Amik Robertson.

The Packers front office knew these types of off performances were possible when they shipped away Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets this offseason. That was the gamble they took when they moved up to draft Love in the first round in 2020.

He flashed plenty of physical talent, but also threw 17 interceptions in his final season at Utah State.

Through five games, Love is now tied for the league lead in interceptions thrown and he's thrown five interceptions in the past two games.

He's still a young quarterback with plenty of time to develop, but this isn't a good look.
