Well, that was different. Coming off last week's lackluster - and that's being polite - performance against Green Bay, the Bears made a bunch of noise about it being a "new season" and yammered on incessantly about being the best defense in the league "when they decide to be" and generally made any sane fan wonder if the Bears needed to be restrained via straight jacket before they hurt someone with their delusions of grandeur. I even suggested the Bears would be ripe for what would amount to a season-ending upset loss, and nothing short of a vicious beating of a hapless St. Louis team would be acceptable. I'm not real sure what happened between here and St. Louis, but the team that took the field on Sunday looked vastly different from the one that played so meekly against the Packers just a week ago. From Danieal Manning's opening kickoff to the final gun, the Bears played like a team that actually wanted to be on the field. The defense racked up...
