Start Em’ QB Eli Manning (NYG) 300 Passing yards 2 TD 0 INT

eli630 500x198 Week 15 Fantasy Football Start Em Sit Em

Right now Manning is guaranteed to get you 300 yards and at least two touchdowns. Added bonus is he is facing a weak Washington defense this week.

Sit Em’ QB Phillip River (SD) 225 Passing yards 1 TD 3 INT

The Ravens have yet to allow any quarterback to throw for more than one touchdown. I don’t expect Rivers to buck this trend.

Start Em’ RB Shonn Greene (NYJ) 110 Total yards 1 TD

The Greene train should continue to roll this week. His owners couldn’t ask for a better matchup with a weak Eagles defense.

Sit Em’ RB Frank Gore (SF) 50 Total Yards 0 TD

Alex Smith is regressing to his pre-2011 form. This makes is much easier for opposing defenses to load up the box and hone in on Frank Gore. He’s a risky play this week.

Start Em’ WR Jordy Nelson (GB) 105 Receiving yards 1 TD

With Greg Jennings out for the next two weeks, Nelson is now Aaron Rodgers’ number one target. All Packer wide receivers are good plays this week and their numbers will get better with Jennings out.

Sit Em’ WR Desean Jackson (PHI) 35 Receiving yards 0 TD

With Cromartie and Revis covering Jackson, he should get frustrated early and become a no show thereafter.

Start Em’ TE Jermaine Gresham (CIN) 75 Receiving yards 1 TD

The entire Bengals offense should be a strong play this week. I wouldn’t doubt seeing Gresham being one of the many Bengals to find the end zone.

Sit Em’ TE Owen Daniels (HOU) 35 Receiving yards 0 TD

Daniels should spend most his afternoon blocking for Foster and Tate. Don’t expect to see much action out of the Texans’ passing attack.

Start Em’ DEF TEN 10 Points Allowed 2 Sacks 3 TO

The Titans kept Drew Brees in check for the most part last week. Dan Orlovsky should be no problem.

Sit Em’ DEF NE 30 Points Allowed 1 Sacks 0 TO

New England’s beleaguered defense should have loads of trouble containing Tim Tebow. Add in the fact that Denver rarely turns over the ball and it doesn’t make much sense to play them this week.

Captain Comeback: Eli Rising

by Adam Carman, BGB Assistant EditorEli Manning has more than earned the title of comeback king this season. Five of the Giants' six wins have come with dramatic 4th-quarter comebacks by Eli Manning. This past week was only the most recent, however; Manning has been delivering when the chips were down for years. If the NFC didn't contain Aaron Rodgers, and Giants fans weren...

Miracle Manning's magic becoming routine

I don’t know why I’m amazed anymore, but I am.   It’s happened I don’t know how many times this year. The other team takes a lead, I think it’s safe, I start writing … then I look up and Eli Manning is leading the Giants on a comeback. He’s remarkable, he really is. He’s led them back from a ...

Far From Fast, Giants’ Manning Thrives Under Pressure

Quarterback Eli Manning cannot outsprint many pursuers, but he has bought enough time in the pocket to pass for 4,105 yards this season, a Giants record.

Giants offensive player to watch: Eli Manning

How he beats you: Now in his eighth NFL season, Manning has taken his game to another level. With the Giants’ run game struggling because of injuries to their backs, Manning has shouldered the load, putting up career bests in every category while throwing for 4,105 yards, 25 touchdowns and just 12 interceptions — down from 25 last season — while posting a passer rating of...

Giants Fans: Proud to Be or Not to Be – that is the Question

The 2011 New York Giants football season can be summed up with one word – nauseating. As a lifelong fan and season ticket holder, it is hard to remember a year with such drama each and every Sunday.  Never is a deficit too large when Eli Manning is at the helm, but with this porous defense, no lead is ever safe.  Even after throwing a critical interception against the Cowboys...

Cofield praises Big Blue offense, takes slight shot a Manning

Redskins defensive tackle Barry Cofield said plenty of good things about the Giants offense. But he couldn’t help throwing a little jab at his old quarterback. The former Giant lauded his old club for having a “top-five offense,” and he celebrated Eli Manning.
