Jacksonville at Indianapolis

Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET, at Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis - TV: CBS; DirecTV: 709

*TV announcers: Bill Macatee, Steve Tasker

*Keys to the game: The Colts can't move the line of scrimmage in the running game. With C Samson Satele (knee) hurting, Indianapolis won't make great gains this week but more of a semblance of a threat is required to safeguard QB Andrew Luck. Luck has been comfortable enough with WR Reggie Wayne, targeting him on 25 of his 76 pass attempts, and also found Donnie Avery for nine receptions totaling 111 yards against the Vikings. The Jaguars have their own offensive line woes -- guard Eben Britton didn't play in Week 2, and Jacksonville made a move at right tackle -- and QB Blaine Gabbert's status was up in the air entering the week. Toe and hamstring injuries felled him and Chad Henne played in the fourth quarter Sunday. Gabbert had only 53 passing yards -- minus-4 in the first half -- and the offense reverted to all Maurice Jones-Drew, ala 2011. The Colts are still working out the kinks in their 3-4 defense, and the presence of ROLB Dwight Freeney would be a boon. He didn't play because of an ankle injury last week but is strong against the run and deeply familiar with the Jaguars' personnel.

*Matchup to watch - Colts LOLB Robert Mathis vs. Jaguars RTs Guy Whimper and Cameron Bradfield: Bradfield (ankle) didn't play last week while Mathis collected his third sack to match his best start to any season through two games.

*Player spotlight - Colts RB Donald Brown: Rookie Vick Ballard is knocking on the door for more playing time. Brown is averaging 3.7 yards per carry. Of his 93 rushing yards, 33 came on two carries. On his 23 other attempts, Brown has 60 yards.

*Fast facts: The Jaguars failed to convert a third down (0-for-9) last week for the third time in team history. ... Wayne passed Michael Irvin last week for 20th in NFL history with 11,914 career receiving yards.

WHO WILL WIN AND WHY

Andrew Luck's maturity is showing through as the Colts are moving the ball and putting points on the board with an average offensive line and subpar running game. The Jaguars, with or without Blaine Gabbert, are still a step behind.

*Our pick: Colts 25-23
