With San Diego Chargers running back Ryan Mathews struggling to hold onto the football, Jackie Battle is now listed as the starting running back down in Southern California.
I’m sure the Chargers will give Mathews a chance to earn his starting spot back, but right now Battle is getting the job done.

Cornerback Chris Carr has signed a one-year contract with the San Diego Chargers.
He'll be added to the active roster on Wednesday, when the Chargers will have to make a corresponding move.
Carr has played with the Oakland Raiders, Tennessee Titans and Baltimore Ravens. He was in training camp with the Minnesota Vikings before being released prior to the regular season.
