Week 5: San Francisco 49ers vs. Atlanta Falcons

The 49ers have given themselves an identity after the 35-0 beating of the Rams last week. The defense and special teams stole the show with a total of three touchdowns in the game. The offense started off slow but found its groove in the second half. With the defense playing strong, the 49ers will have to consistent against the very powerful Falcons offense.QB Matt Ryan has already established himself as one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL in a little over one season. RB Michael Turner might also be a handful for the 49ers defense as well as newly acquired TE Tony Gonzalez. Considered one of the greatest tight ends of all time, the 49ers have to account for the big plays Gonzalez has up his sleeves for the Falcons passing game.The 49ers passing game, however, hasn't been all that great.
