Meet the new spokesman for Leonard Hair Transplant Associates, Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker. This news may have uncovered a little rift in the Pats' locker room - Julian Edleman hair envy.
According to the release, Dr, Leonard says Welker should be seeing new hair growth in about four months. In the meantime, Welker can resume normal activities; playing football being the most important.
This isn't your typical "hair system" made popular years ago by the Hair Club for Men commercials. This involves take live hair follicles from other areas of the head, usually the back, and transplanting them to the top. The procedure has become somewhat sophisicated than in past years when they would take noticeable round plugs out of your head and pop them on elsewhere; now they do little tiny ones that no one notices.
“When I was considering hair transplantation I knew that I wanted to work with the best in the field and that is why I chose Dr. Robert Leonard” Welker said. “Dr. Leonard has a tremendous reputation and his knowledge and expertise helped put my mind at ease throughout the process."

This off-season, Wes Welker started hawking adult diapers and he got married. At the age of 31, lil’ WELKAH’s nawt the fresh, young GRITSTAH he once was. The evidence shows up top, too, with his hairline retreating further and further up his forehead with LeBron-like tenacity. That just won’t do. No way you can be a baldy ugmo and play with Dreamboat. He won’t stand for...
Hot News for WR Wes Welker
Sadly, one of the highlights in sports this week is Wes Welker’s hair transplant. Perhaps it’s one of the lowlights. I didn’t think Welker had it that bad, but I guess he did. I mean the guy married a total smokeshow with no hair, so I’m not sure what he was spazzing about.
Anyway, Welker is now the posterboy in Rhode Island for hair transplants. Wayne Rooney is the posterboy...
Wes Welker may be running ads soon saying that his hair restoration treatment with Dr. Robert Leonard was the best thing that ever happened to him. Just don't expect Dustin Pedroia to jump on board.
