INDIANAPOLIS — The Giants aren’t afraid to express themselves. If they have something to say, there’s enough big personalities in their locker room that it will be said. But they were on their best behavior as they arrived in Indianapolis this afternoon.
A few reporters tried to bait outspoken defensive end Justin Tuck with questions about Tom Brady’s “guarantee” yesterday, but Tuck quickly and simply diffused that.
“It was a pep rally,” Tuck said. “What was he supposed to say? I don’t think it’s Tom doing anything but getting fans riled up.”
Safety Antrel Rolle has been known to make a controversial comment or two. But he played it straight today.
“There’s no need for that,” Rolle said. “We’re here to play the game and it’s not about toning anything down. It’s just about knowing where you are in the situation and understanding what’s at stake. Honestly, there’s nothing to be said.”
