Westbrook May Need Surgery

if he does i hope it's done soon so we can have him back healthy in the off season!!!

The Eagles have unfairly relied on Westbrook to carry the offense for too long. He's a small guy. He isn't a 30 touch a game running back. How many times do we, as fans, have to gripe about this issue that has been so clear for years? Westbrook is a stud, don't get me wrong. Probably the best most versatile player in the NFL. I hope that he will be well and that we get him the help that he needs finally. Although I doubt it.

God dang it, we need to draft that RB, Shonn Greene, Shady, Jennings, Wells, FBs Weaver or Quinn Johnson, Westbrook is still the man, he took a 70 berger to the house with a bad thigh he will be back as was Curtis, Kevin Curtis just erupted and if we dont get that receiver we've been coveting its because Kevin will be Donny's dude DeSean Jason, and Hank it might not be much but its decent and decent wideouts can be great with a great QB, THIS IS FOR DTRIK- I saw Nicks running routes and catching balls, and he beat Jordan Norwood, Deon Butler, and Donald Brown, Nicks is a natural good size, and has great body control and he has awesome hands im waiting on philly now

This is a big part of the reason, i have been saying it might be a good idea for the Eagles to draft a RB in the first round. Need to start preparing for life with out B-Westy.
Having a nice Back, to compliment BWest, would be an Amazing duo for next season! control the clock with the run game, and Tear em up with our defense

Buc is a capable back who last year proved with almost every time he touched the ball it went for positive yards. They need to find ways to utilize him more and keep Westbrooks touches in the 20 or so range. This would keep both backs fresh all season long, and something we desperately missed down the playoff stretch. I don't know what it is but it sure seesm like many of the fans could coach this team as well as Reid!

I think they should let go of Westbrook. Keep Buckhalter and bring in LT and draft Wells in 1st round. Go to a ball control run game. Do what the Giants did when they drove barber out. Westbrook is slowing down and showing wear and tear. The Eagles need hard nosed RB's not shifty scat backs.

Better than washed up Dawkins. But fact remains a power running game is a proven formula. denver did it, giants did it, steelers did it and list goes on. Westbrook just doesnt fininsh off runs. He is not a running threat as much as a passing threat. He wants the feature back role but wasnt durable enough for the playoff push. What did he avg 2.8 yds a carry. And where was the Dawkins ? He cloaked himself in Cards game. INVISIBLE. Ill say it again team needs big change LT, Wells, & Buckhalter or Jacobs, Wells & Buckhalter.

If the Eagles get a Pro-bowl TE, and a strong OT or OE to help..... THe run game will open up more, and the pass game will be un-beatable!

valid point but all the critics have been saying for years Eagles need a powerback. Reid should turn his deaf ears on. And a rookie is risky. Need a veteran and rookie.

The formula is played out and doesnt work. eagles need bold steps not just a lil here or there answers.

Wow, when you outrun an entire defense with a bad knee for 71 yards, thats fast, look im sorry everyone on our team isnt as fast as DeSean Jackson Shawn Andrews will never run a 4.3 30 trust me on this one, and Dawkins is a bigger man than Reed will ever be, when your playing linebacker safety and leader on a defense it speaks for itself when youve been doing it for 13 years thats HOF, he isnt a pro bowl safety hes a hall of fame safety

He is a great role player worthy of 10-12 touches thats it. Thats a fact. They need a bigger faster power back to protect McNabb and keep defenses honest. Im sure Westy has a role just not full time. I would go with Jacobs, Wells & Westy. Thats power game right there bro.

Thats called keeping a defense honest. havent seen that with eagles.
