This Patriots offseason has not been lacking in headlines and major storylines; but one name that has not seemed to surface with any real relevance is Danario Alexander. I wrote earlier in the month on the wideout's potential availability, and why I think he is a player the team should go after.
And that was BEFORE the Patriot's released their primary outside receiving threat in Brandon Lloyd. Now, a few weeks later, our current receiving corps consists of Amendola, Donald Jones, and Michael "Molasses Mike" Jenkins. While I trust that Bill won't allow the team to enter the season with those guys as the backbone, the question that begs asking at this point is: What about Danario?
