The Eagles are off to a great start to the regular season with a 2-0 record. But now another tough match-up has approached them this Sunday. The Arizona Cardinals. A team that you don’t know what to expect out of them. With a very good defense, this will be a great match-up and an exciting game for Philadelphia.
And let’s not forget, both teams are 2-0.
For the Eagles to defeat the Cardinals in week 3 of the season, the Eagles need to do many things to succeed and to get the W, improving to 3-0.
First off, the Eagles need to limit their turnovers. As we all know, Vick is the main turn-over machine, either throwing an interception, getting a fumble, anything along those lines. This game will most likely be an extremely close one so every play and turnover counts and impacts the game tremendously.
Next up, this offense needs to take over. The Eagles can win this if their offense is rolling early and smooth. If Vick and his receivers can have an outstanding game and LeSean McCoy can put up great numbers, the Eagles are a dangerous and scary team to look out for.
Thirdly, the back-ups have to step up. As I said before, this is going to be a very close game so these back-ups have to step up and make an immediate impact in this game.
Lastly, the Eagles defense needs to step up and stay consistent throughout the whole game. The Eagles defense has looked very good in previous games so if they can continue their dominance, they are good to go.
As long as the Philadelphia Eagles can do all these things, they can definitely win this game and improve to 3-0, continuing their first place dominance in the NFC East.
