When The Music's Over

Losing sucks, period.  This wasn't a great team.  I had no illusions that we could win four straight games and bring the Lombardi Trophy to Philly.  That still doesn't make losing in the playoffs anything less than painful.  We've invested a lot of time and emotion in this team.  Anything short of a title is going to hurt.  While I'm down after the loss, I'm not furious the way I was in 2002, 2003, or 2008.  Those teams had championship potential.  Those losses were devastating.  My frustration now isn't so much that we lost, but that the journey is over.  I had a lot of fun watching this team.  Mike Vick did some amazing things.  All of the young skill players had great moments at one time or another.  While the defense was highly frustrating all year, even they had some good moments.  I've read through some comments.  I hope people are just venting.  Fire Reid?  As someone pointed out, for who?  The second Bill Belichick comes available I'm all for ...
