In the first addition of my new series Who Should Stay/Who Should Go, I will be breaking down who I think the Cowboys should keep and who they should move on from. In this series I will be talking about free agents and players who are currently under contract. The first player I will be discussing is Terence Newman. Coming into this season there was a lot of talk about whether Terence Newman could be the Newman of old; at times this season he looked like he might be. However, then the Giants game happened, and Terence looked like he had never played the game of football. He looked slow in coverage, and he got embarrassed twice trying to make tackles. I mean I have seen hurdles make a better effort at tackling a guy than Newman did. The Cowboys secondary this season was awful, with Mike Jenkins’ inability to stay healthy, and Newman looking old and slow.
