As a redshirt freshman starter, Wisconsin’s Brooks Bollinger quarterbacked the Badgers to the 2000 Rose Bowl, the second consecutive trip for the Big Ten champions. The Badgers beat Stanford, 17-9. Bollinger wound up being a four-year starter in Madison and was drafted in the sixth round of the 2003 NFL Draft. Today Bollinger is still playing professionally in the UFL with the Florida Tuskers. He was their starter until suffering a season-ending injury midway through the year. Wisconsin returns to the Rose Bowl this Saturday against TCU. Brooks Bollinger profile
