WR Jordan Addison told the Steelers to "come get" him at the NFL Scouting Combine last week. However, following his showcase, Pittsburgh should not select him in the first round.

Addison said being drafted by the Steelers would make for a "real easy" transition to the NFL.
Kenny Pickett and Addison combined for over 2,000 yards and 20 TD while they were at Pitt.

The Steelers currently hold pick No. 17 in the 2023 NFL Draft. A week ago, some believed Addison would be gone by the time Pittsburgh first picks, but now others think he may not even get drafted on night one.
The USC and Pitt product didn't have a bad combine by any means, but he certainly didn't raise his draft stock. Addison's weight and speed could be major factors in a stock fall after weighing in at 173 pounds and running a 4.49 40-yard dash.
If you are a sub-175-pound WR in the NFL with short arms and a small catch radius, you better walk on water with your speed/explosiveness.

Jordan Addison does not win with elite twitch/speed. He's a smooth player and a good route runner. He's a second-round player. #NFLCombine pic.twitter.com/wdGaCF9lBG
Addison has already fallen on Pro Football Focus' big board, now ranking as its No. 26 overall prospect.
"Addison didn't have a bad combine, per se, but he didn't do himself any favors," PFF writes. "In a tightly packed receiver class, others may have overtaken Addison on draft boards."
If Pittsburgh is still interested in reuniting Addison with QB Kenny Pickett, they may just be able to do so at the top of the second round as they are scheduled to kick off day two with pick No. 32.
