TEAMS:
New York Jets
The New York Jets interest in Tim Tebow was surprising. Tebow won a slue of improbable games last season for a lackluster Denver team but with a career completion percentage of 47.5% he had only proven critics that he was not a traditional passer. Thus far the Jets have kept Tim Tebow on the sidelines for much of the season. While playing in the wildcat formation he has thrown one pass, a 9 yard completion, and run the ball nine times for 38 yards. In fact when the Jets played against San Fransisco it was the 49ers who employed the wildcat with success. The Tim Tebow experiment has been a disappointment. The Jets have talked about incorporating Tebow into their game plan more but does anyone really think Mark Sanchez will ever throw him a pass? Further should Tebow be given the option to pass the Jets are in a lose-lose situation. If Tebow struggles to throw out of the wildcat they expose the fraud they have built up all season. They further cement the notion that Tebow is nothing m...

Tim Tebow tweets about 666 before ‘Monday Night Football’ game
Via Larry Brown Sports: Tim Tebow stoked some religious fires before the “Monday Night Football” game between the Jets and Texans by recognizing that this was the 666th edition of the program.
The Jets need to refuel their engines
At this point the Jets have no answers on offense at all. Tebow or Sanchez? Where’s first round pick from a few years ago in Shonne Greene. Santonio Holmes was their best offensive weapon and he’s done for the season. I think Antonio Cromartie was right when he said he was the second best receiver on the team. He beat Johnathan Joseph badly on a stop and go route on Monday...
Terrell Owens wants the Jets to know that he’s “ready, willing, & able!”
Terrell Owens needs a job. Terrell Owens wants a job. And as we’ve seen before, Terrell Owens will try any and every avenue to land a job.So it shouldn’t surprise anyone that Owens would be willing to literally beg the Jets on his Twitter account to call his agent and sign him to a contract.https://twitter.com/terrellowens/status/255494452678901760The Jets might as well sign...

Tebow Sanchez Drama Headed to Primetime Tonight
We are here to entertain T..
The ongoing saga of Tim Tebow and Mark Sanchez continues tonight at Metlife stadium. The Jets circus will take on the 4-0 Houston Texans. “We’re going to fight like we’re an underdog,” Jets coach Rex Ryan said. “We’re going to swing, that’s for sure. We’re not going to just take it, I can tell you that much.” If Sanchez lays another...

Jets TE Keller And WR Hill Listed As Doubtful For Monday Night Football -
As the Jets attempt to recommit to the “ground and pound” offense in the hopes of avoiding being grounded and pounded (again) in Week 5 by the undefeated Texans, the Jets have more reasons to try to pound it on the ground. Tight end Dustin Keller and receiver Stephen Hill are both officially doubtful with...
Does Woody Johnson care about winning?
Woody Johnson: no hair don’t care?I’d rather see Mitt Romney win this election than the Jets having a winning season. This is what Jets owner Woody Johnson implied when asked if he would you rather have a winning Jets season or a victorious presidential election for Mitt Romney?Organizations and teams that win championships, for the most part, have one thing in common. They have...
Jets tilt with Titans the ultimate gut check
It’s how you get up…
Goodness I abhor sports cliches. But occasionally, they are virtually unavoidable. Or so I rationalize, as I pen these words. The Jets game against Houston tonight is the epitome of a “gut check” contest.
We often throw out the relative “importance” of every other game on the calendar. Critical as it relates to the division. Monumental turning point...
Jets TE Dustin Keller Expected Back Vs Colts
Jets coach Rex Ryan expects to have starting tight end Dustin Keller back on the field Sunday against the Colts.
Keller has missed the last four games with a hamstring injury.
Im encouraged, Ryan said. When I talked to Dustin last, he felt that hes going to be able to go this week. I think that will give us a huge boost.
The Jets have been dealing with a depleted offense...
Dustin Keller Out
New York tight end Dustin Keller is out for Monday night's matchup versus the Texans. Keller has been missed the team's last four games because of a hamstring injury.Fantasy Spin:Keller was the Jets' leading receiver a year ago but he has only been healthy enough to compete in one game so far in 2012. Fourth-year tight end Jeff Cumberland will grab the start in Keller's place.
Mark Sanchez gives pre-game motivational speech to HS football team
Mark Sanchez swung by a New Jersey high school Friday night to give the local football team a quick pre-game pep talk. After doing his best Rex Ryan impression, Sanchez watched the game among the crowd in the stands.
The New York Jets quarterback took time out to stop by the Bernards High School locker room before the undefeated Mountaineers faced unbeaten New Providence in a...
Terrell Owens Trolls For a Job From The Jets On Twitter
I am not sure if this is the worst idea ever, or the best idea ever. Terrell Owens who is currently unemployed took to Twitter on Monday night during the Jets and Texans MNF game to beg the Jets for a chance. T.O. Tweeted the below, and you can even smell the desperation. You have to respect the hustle, right?!?!#bbpBox_255494452678901760 a { text-decoration:none; color:#FF6C03...
Texans vs Jets Preview: Can Texans cover the 11 point spread?
Can things really get worse for the New York Jets? The 49ers beat the bloody life out of them at Met Life Stadium last week as San Francisco's defense shut the Jets out at home. If the Niners have the best defense in the NFC then the Texans have the best defense in the AFC. The Texans punish people and have the front runner for defensive MVP in J.J. Watt. As a matter...
Lock of the Day – October 9, 2012
LOTD Recap We continued our perfect start for CLNS Radio last night, as we hit MNF with the New York Jets (+9.5). We definitely had to sweat this one out a little bit, but knew that the Jets would be competitive in this game. They even had chances to win this game outright, but we’ll take [...]
