Looking at the 2012 season for the Buffalo Bills there is one man who seems to be helping the team on defense in an effort to achieve their goals; and it may not be who you think it is. It’s not the high priced free agent signing of Mario Williams or Mark Anderson. It’s not All-Pro defensive tackle Kyle Williams or second year man Marcell Dareus. It’s not even the rejuvenated middle linebacker Nick Barnett or rookie sensation Stephon Gilmore, who seems to have silenced his critics with his increasing level of play each and every week. While all these people seem to be good candidates, the answer to this question is the Bills’ free safety and fourth year man out of Oregon, Jairus Byrd.
