Denver Broncos running back Willis McGahee has a torn medial collateral ligament in his right knee, reported by ESPN's Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter and a fracture in his leg, reported by NFL Network contributor Jay Glazer. New England not only team to take hit: @mortreportand I reporting Broncos RB Willis McGahee has a torn MCL, will miss six to eight weeks. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) November 19, 2012 The Broncos' leading rusher suffered the injury after San Diego cornerback Quintin Jammer struck him in the knee with his helmet. With McGahee out, Ronnie Hillman and Lance Ball will share snaps at the tailback position. The Broncos also have Knowshon Moreno on their 53-man roster and Jeremiah Johnson on their practice squad.
