Another week of NFL football sees another piece of bad news for the Dallas Cowboys. It’s as if the football gods are absolutely certain in denying Cowboy fans any sort of pure pleasure for any longer than a day. Star wide receiver Miles Austin suffered another hamstring injury in Sunday’s 23-13 victory over the Seahawks. This is not the first time Austin has pulled a hammy this year. The first injury occurred during training camp, with Austin pulling his right hamstring. He re-aggravated the injury in Week 2 during the Cowboys’ 27-24 victory over San Francisco. This time Austin injured his right hamstring. He was on his way to a stellar performance at the time he suffered the injury in the 2nd quarter, pulling in two receptions for 53 yards. The Cowboys have had a plethora of problems this season. Initially, aside from the parade of injuries (CB Mike Jenkins seems to make it a weekly habit), it was the offensive line either not knowing which gaps to plug or not knowing what the snap count was.
