(Eds: APNewsNow. Will be updated.) By ANDREW SELIGMAN AP Sports Writer Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte says he's just about 100 percent, that his sprained right ankle is feeling better. That's certainly good news for the NFC North leaders. They sit atop the division at 4-1 and rank 10th in the league in rushing despite some uneven performances. Forte is averaging 4.7 yards per carry and newcomer Michael Bush has been solid backing him up, but the Bears realize there's room for improvement. Forte says he's ''pretty much back'' to where he should be, so maybe the run game will kick into a higher gear, as it has in recent years around their off week. The Bears just had theirs with Detroit (2-3) visiting Chicago on Monday night. --- Online: http://pro32.ap.org and http://twitter.com/AP-NFL

Hester To Be More Involved?

Get ready for the ‘Hester Package’ Juan…With Alshon Jeffery out for a few more weeks, we could see more Hester than we originally thought.  The Bears seem to have more confidence then I do in the KR/WR.  I think Hester could be used in some gadget plays and sparingly throughout the game, but his value is tied to punt and kick returns.  Hester is the best returner in the...

Bears Receiver Earl Bennett Needs to Step Up in Alshon Jeffery's Absence

When Alshon Jeffery broke his hand in the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars there was disappointment in his loss, but optimism that Earl Bennett could step up in his place.  Bennett is a solid option and a favorite target of quarterback Jay Cutler.  He is a solid option as a slot receiver and can be counted on to make critical catches in the clutch. Bears Guard Lance Louis Has Come On Strong, Gets Big Test versus Lions' Suh

Lance Louis has thus far been the most consistent offensive lineman on the team during the 2012 season.  Louis has been a solid run blocker and an even better pass blocker.  However to this point in the five games he's started he hasn't faced a player of the same caliber as Ndamukong Suh.
