New England Patriots
Running back Danny Woodhead and defensive end Chandler Jones are active for the New England Patriots in the AFC championship game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Both missed most of the Patriots' 41-28 playoff win over Houston last week. Woodhead hurt his left thumb carrying the ball on the Patriots' first offensive play. Jones, who had six sacks this season, injured his ankle.
For the Ravens, running back Bernard Pierce, fullback Vonta Leach and linebacker Dannell Ellerbe were active Sunday. They were listed as questionable Friday.
The Patriots' inactive players were wide receiver Kamar Aiken, safety Derrick Martin, cornerback Malcolm Williams, offensive linemen Nick McDonald and Marcus Zusevics and defensive linemen Jake Bequette and Marcus Forston.
Baltimore's inactives were defensive backs Asa Jackson and Omar Brown, linebacker Adrian Hamilton, offensive lineman Ramon Harewood, wide receiver Deonte Thompson, and defensive linemen DeAngelo Tyson and Bryan Hall.

The AFC Championship game did not go the way that Tom Brady and the New England Patriots had hoped. Not all is upset with the Patriots loss as twitter exploded with a slue of tweets about #Bradying.
It seems everyone thought that with about 8:27 seconds left in the 4th quarter it was the perfect time to take out the phone and snap a shot of Brady.
For the second straight offseason, wide receiver Wes Welker’s future with the New England Patriots is uncertain.
Quarterback Tom Brady once again made it clear that he wants Welker to come back next season, while talking with Dennis & Callahan Show on Boston sports radio WEEI.
“Everybody knows how I feel about Wes, our whole team feels that way about Wes,” Brady said,...
Probably a good time to say you should think before you post things on your Facebook or Twitter accounts. Wives of athletes on losing the Patriots sure get frustrated and feisty after playoff losses. Welker’s wife is Anna Burns, a former Miss Hooters, will likely not be watching the Super Bowl or paying attention to any of the hype about Ray Lewis leading up to the game.The...
The New England Patriots announced Saturday that they signed rookie defensive lineman Marcus Forston from the practice squad. Forston takes tight end Rob Gronkowski's spot on the 53-man roster. Gronkowski was placed on injured reserve earlier in the week. New England hosts the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC title game on Sunday. Forston, 22, was on the practice squad since Sept. 28.
Athletes seem to love porn stars. Remember when Patriots Rob Gronkowski had fun flicking up with one? Knowing the two seems to attract, this story isn’t shocking to me at all. Former porn star Jazmine Cashmere said someone on the Clippers offered her $10,000 to spend the weekend with him. He made the request via direct message (DM) on Twitter and when she declined, he unfollowed...
It is an experience common to all men to find that, on any special occasion, such as the production of a magical effect for the first time in public, everything that can go wrong will go wrong. Whether we must attribute this to the malignity of matter or to the total depravity of inanimate things, whether the exciting cause is hurry, worry, or what not, the fact remains.
The New England Patriots lost in Sunday nights AFC title game against the Baltimore Ravens 28-13. Quarterback Tom Brady was 29-of-54 for 320 yards, had just one touchdown and threw two interceptions. For Brady, it was one of the worst games of the season.
But the loss did not stop Coach Bill Belichick from making one thing clear during Monday’s press conference: That he will be...
Douchejuice Bill Belichick didn't win the Super Bowl yet again this year. He decided he didn't want to talk about it with CBS' Steve Tasker. If you had your SAP button on, you could understand...

With everyone saying Bill Belichick and Tom Brady were sore losers, I was glad to see this headline. Belichick caused a stir last night when he didn't interview with CBS, a customary thing to do after a game, win or lose. As a result of this, Bill was labeled as unprofessional and a sore loser.
I think John Harbaugh has the biggest say in whether or not Bill is classy or not...
“As Patriots players were wrapping up their work day Friday, one final meeting was called. It...
Yesterday during the AFC Championship game between the Ravens and Patriots, Ravens safety Bernard Pollard delivered the knockout blow to New England’s Super Bowl chances when he knocked Stevan Ridley out the game with a vicious shot.
Pollard who could be referenced to as the Patriot killer for taking out so many Pats over the years, understands it’s a game, and told CSNNE...
The underachieving New England Patriots lost to the tougher Baltimore Ravens 28-13 tonight at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. After going a stellar 13-4, New England again failed in the clutch to earn their first ever title without the benefit … Continue reading →
I’m stunned, lost, disappointed, and very angry. I hope I’m speaking for more Patriots fans. What looked to be another return to the Super Bowl was cut short by the Baltimore Ravens, who were running on pure destiny.
I was concerned from the very beginning from the game. It was literally a chess match between both teams on each other’s possessions. In the end, I’m...
