Inside the Bills:
WR Derek Hagan, who was picked up off waivers a couple of weeks back is ready to have a role in Buffalo’s offense down the stretch and is expected to be active today against the Chargers.
“I’m ready to go and I should be going this week against San Diego,” Hagan told Buffalobills.com.
Just how extensive Hagan’s role is remains to be seen, especially in light of how effective Brad Smith has been in the number two wideout spot the past two weeks. Still Hagan has gone out of his way to establish a rapport with Ryan Fitzpatrick.
“It’s been great,” said Hagan. “We’ve spent extra time to get the timing down between one another, me getting used to how his ball comes out when he throws it. So it’s been good and I feel a lot more comfortable now than the first week I was here.”
Hagan has several tickets for Sunday’s game as his immediate family including his parents will be in attendance as they drive the two hours...

As we told you on Saturday, WR Derek Hagan will see his first action in a Bills uniform today against the Chargers.
Hagan is expected to see some action on offense today.
“I feel a lot more comfortable with the offense now that I’ve been here three weeks,” Hagan told Buffalobills.com. “I’m ready to get back on the field.”
Byrd, Wilson probable
The Bills safety tandem is expected to be back in action Sunday at San Diego. George Wilson has missed the last three games, but that streak is going to come to an end this weekend.
Wilson practiced all week and is listed as probable. Free safety Jairus Byrd is also probable after missing Wednesday’s practice with a shin injury. Byrd was leg whipped in last week’s game.
Still hope for CB Williams
Bills rookie CB Aaron Williams has not practiced at all this week after sustaining a knee injury in last week’s game, but head coach Chan Gailey is holding out hope that Williams might come around in the next day or so.
