Free agent wide receiver Plaxico Burress is looking for a new team in 2012 and according to one journalist, he wants to become a member of the Philadelphia Eagles next season. Howard Eskin attended the Super Bowl last week. Eskin reported on Twitter that Peyton Manning would become a member of the Washington Redskins. Now, Eskin reports once again on Twitter, that WR Plaxico Burress wants to become a member of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Eskin tweeted, “Saw and talked to Plaxico Burress at Super Bowl and he told me he wants to play for Eagles. Badly!”
Burress will become a free agent on March 13th and will be one receiver in what is expected to be an incredibly deep free agent talent pool this season.Burress might be a good fit for the Eagles offense as they are in need of a big body for red zone work.
