PLAYERS: Mike Leach
TEAMS: Arizona Cardinals
Happy Friday Cougs.  Here's hoping you and yours are ready for an enjoyable weekend around the northwest, as it's supposed to be extremely nice the next few days!  Yours truly has been off the grid for the last week, out of town for work down in Florida (Fort Lauderdale, to be exact).  It was a lot of fun and a lot of work, but probably not nearly as glamorous as it sounds.  I did get on the beach for a short time one night with some co-workers, and it's a beautiful setting on that long strip of beaches and hotels in the Ft Lauderdale area.  But I'm back home now, and ready to get to the grind, as the Cougs finally kicked off fall camp yesterday!  And as you can probably imagine, there's a lot of stuff to get to, so let's proceed, shall we? So, right off the bat I think we're seeing the true effects of Mike Leach at WSU in regards to media attention.  Not only does it appear that there is a lot more interest among the WSU faithful, obviously, but you...

Looks Like Peter Berg's WSU MIke Leach Project Isn't Happening

Back in May one of our ten sports media questions for this upcoming football season was "Will Peter Berg's Mike Leach documentary series become a reality?" It was certainly something I was hoping to see come to fruition. But with no real updates from Berg's camp or Washington State, I had all but given up on the chance of the show being produced. Unfortunately...

On eve of fall camp, Leach sets stage for '12

WITH THE START of fall camp less than 24 hours away for Washington State, one thing stands out to Mike Leach. Lack of depth. The head man also touched base on a variety of other topics, including the offseason dismissals that have affected the Cougars’ depth.

SPECIAL TEAMS: WSU Fall Camp Preview

PULLMAN – Mike Leach in his WSU first fall camp is expected to place major importance on the special teams units. An underwhelming third phase of the Wazzu’s game in recent years, the Cougars appear ready to turn a corner in 2012, both literally and figuratively.

Washington State opens camp on Thursday

New Washington State coach Mike Leach wants to take his team back to junior high as fall camp opens on Thursday. FALL CAMP NOTEBOOK: DAY 2

PULLMAN -- The Cougars welcomed a new face, and a much-hyped freshman showed why he was the highest-rated recruit from WSU’s 2012 class on Friday. Meanwhile, the offense and defense both took strides while racking up big plays during a grueling three-hour practice. In the end, coach Mike Leach sounded impressed.

QUARTERBACK: WSU Fall Camp Preview

PULLMAN -- Washington State kicks off fall camp far more comfortable at the signal caller position than in years past. Senior Jeff Tuel comes into 2012 healthy and primed to lead Mike Leach’s Air Raid offense. The position figures to put up some gaudy numbers in 2012, thanks to a new scheme and a plethora of targets. But what else can Cougar fans expect?
