Extra host Maria Menounos is a die-hard New England sports fan. So, she did what any die-hard New England sports fan would do before the Super Bowl and made a stupid bet with one of her friends.

Menounos bet Extra correspondent A.J. Calloway that her Patriots would beat the New York Giants. If the Pats won Calloway would have to wear a Patriots cheerleader outfit. Luckily for us, the Giants won, meaning Menounos had to wear a Giants’ bikini.

And believe you me, she looks fantastic in a bikini.

jQuery(function($){$("a img.gallery-wall-fade").hover(function(){$(this).stop().animate({opacity:.5},{queue:false,duration:400});},function(){$(this).stop().animate({opacity:1},{queue:false,duration:400});});});

That’s Mario Lopez, AKA AC Slater next to her in most of the photos you’re about to see. Slater shot out the following text with one of the pics earlier today.

My girl @mariamenounos lost a Super Bowl bet & had to wear a NY Giants bikini! Big props..Look great

We have to wonder if they did this outdoors on purpose. It’s obviously cold wherever they are — Slater is obviously wearing a winter coat and a scarf. You have to wonder if someone wasn’t looking for a little hard-nipple action.

Regardless of the intention — and it didn’t work, by the way — we will say this. You could wash your clothes on Menounos’ abs. Take a look at some more of that action.
