The New York Giants have waived veteran offensive lineman Adam Koets from the reserve-physically unable to perform list.
Koets played in eight games - including four starts - in 2010 before tearing a knee ligament in November. He underwent surgery and was placed on injured reserve.

Today was supposed to be the day that the Giants had to decide whether to allow Adam Koets to begin practicing or put him on injured reserve. Well, they found a third option.
