ANDRE CALDWELL RUMORS

Andre Caldwell expected to play against Jets

The Denver Broncos will have wide receiver Andre Caldwell on the field when they play against the New York Jets on Sunday. While the Broncos are already a healthy favorite, they will not complain about having Caldwell on the field in four-wide sets come Sunday. Caldwell left last weekends game with a knee injury but practiced in full. Though four games he has two catches for 16 yards.

Andre Caldwell’s time in Denver may be over

Cuts are coming. We all know it. Heck, the whole reason we all watch the preseason is to figure out who is going to make the final 53 of the Denver Broncos. Blowing out two rather annoying NFC West opponents is really just a mildly satisfying bonus. At the end of the day, James Merilatt’s Monday column was right: The harsh reality is that these games are played not for the starters...

Offensive Surprises for the Broncos in 2014

In 2013, the Broncos put together arguably the most impressive offensive season the NFL has ever seen. Denver lost two crucial pieces from last year in Knowshon Moreno and Eric Decker, but John Elway has reloaded this roster once again adding some more weapons for Peyton Manning. The biggest of the weapons were wide receivers Emmanuel Sanders and Cody Latimer. However, before those...

Former NFL receiver Reche Caldwell arrested for allegedly selling Ecstasy

(USA Today Sports Images) It’s always sad to see former players from the NFL turn to a life of crime when their playing days are over.  It’s even sadder when the player is arrested not once, but twice for illegal activities. Donald ‘Reche’ Caldwell was originally arrested five months ago for allegedly running an illegal gambling ring.  He’s now been arrested again for...

Denver Broncos salary cap number updated

The Denver Broncos have gone wild in Free Agency, grabbing all the top talent around. They re-signed Andre Caldwell, then added T.J. Ward, Aqib Talib and DeMarcus Ware to the defense. A few days later, Emmanuel Sanders was signed to take over for the departed Eric Decker. That spending frenzy has been fun, but it’s also depleted Denver’s funds. While the Broncos started Free...

Andre Caldwell leaps into Fantasy Football stardom

At first glance this may not look like a big signing, but upon further review Andre Caldwell may be the guy that puts your 2014 fantasy team over the top.  In 2013 Wes Welker missed the final three weeks of the NFL season with a concussion. In that time frame Caldwell was inserted into the lineup as the #3 WR. Peyton Manning targeted him a total of 20 times in those 3 games including...

Expect Andre Caldwell to fill the void for Wes Welker until playoffs

Andre Caldwell helped fill the void left by Wes Welker’s injury, catching six passes for 59 yards and two TDs against the Chargers. The road hasn’t always been as smooth as he would have liked, but this December, Caldwell has the chance to be that guy at a time when the Broncos sorely need one. […]

Peyton Manning’s take on Broncos loss to Chargers: ‘It’s disappointing’

The San Diego Chargers kept the ball out of the hands of quarterback Peyton Manning Thursday night and handed the Denver Broncos an unexpected 27-20 loss at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. San Diego kept its offense on the field for 38:49, while the Broncos were only on offense for 21:11. “I give San Diego’s defense a lot of credit,” Manning said, via the Broncos official...
