Baltimore Ravens Re-Sign Jameel McClain, Ayanbadejo, Sign Two Others

After a normal, quiet free agency period in Baltimore, the Ravens announced last Friday that they agreed to terms with four unrestricted free agents (two returning), according to general manager/executive vice president Ozzie Newsome via press release. Two important returning players are linebackers Brendon Ayanbadejo and Jameel McClain—who both re-signed three-year deals.  Safety...

Ayanbadejo re-signs with Ravens for three years

The Baltimore Ravens and special teams ace, Brendon Ayanbadejo, have agreed to a three-year contract, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. Ayanbadejo, a three-time Pro Bowler, has been the leader of the Ravens’ special teams unit ever since he arrived in Baltimore in 2008. He has also seen significant playing time as a [...]

Ravens Re-Sign LB Brendon Ayanbadejo

The Baltimore Ravens have re-signed veteran linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo to a three-year contract, Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com reports. Financial terms were not disclosed. Signed to a four-year contract by the Ravens in 2008, Ayanbadejo has 77 tackles, including 33 on special teams, in 46 games. Dolphins After CFL players

The Dolphins have had success with former CFL players through the years, some examples including Mark Dixon, Brendon Ayanbadejo and, of course, Cameron Wake. They've been going after CFL players this offseason as well, with one player changing his mind after it appeared he was headed south before another reportedly agreeing to come to Miami.

Ayanbadejo: Ravens Should Expect ‘No Discounts’

Like a fine wine, Baltimore Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo only seems to be getting better with age. Ayanbadejo, 35, played in more games (16) this season alone than in the previous two seasons combined (14). He also posted career-highs in solo tackles (31), pass deflections (2) and sacks (1.5). It was somewhat surprising to see [...]

Ravens LB Ayanbadejo might not tune in to 'unSuper Bowl'

Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo is still processing a brutal loss to the Patriots in the AFC title game. Perhaps that's why he took to Twitter on Monday to deride the two teams that will play in Indy on Feb. 5.

Brendon Ayanbadejo Says the Two Best Teams Are Not in the Super Bowl, Calls Joe Flacco a ‘Nobody’ and More

Nothing brings out a sore loser quite like Twitter.  Before Twitter, we had to rely on players flapping their gums at the media in order to get a disrespectful quote or two after a loss.  As we have learned over the years, typing things on your Twitter account seems to be a lot easier than actually saying them.  While even the loudest of loud mouths like Terrell Suggs have been...

Ravens Brendon Ayanbadejo Says Two Best Teams Aren’t In the Super Bowl

Someone is salty. I hate to break it to Ayanbadejo, but the two best teams are in the Super Bowl you know why? BECAUSE THEY WON!!! Lee Evans didn’t secure the catch, Billy Cundiff missed a kicked and Kyle Williams fumbled a punt.  That is why the Ravens and 49ers are sitting at home and the Patriots and Giants are in the Super Bowl. Don’t be that guy Brendon, you are...

Brendon Ayanbadejo Gets Ejected For Punch

Not sure what to think of this call. Brendon got punched in the face first and just punched back. I have seen this type of punch week after week and never see players getting ejected. Usually it's a standard fifteen yarder. Just a little more salt in the wound after losing 12-7 to the Jaguars.
