Two years ago, Caleb Hanie was the third-string quarterback that came into the NFC Championship Game for an injured Jay Cutler and a bad Todd Collins. Last year, he was an oftentimes ineffective backup benched after four starts in relief of an injured Jay Cutler. Now, he's agreed to be a backup quarterback to Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos for the next two seasons.
