A lawsuit brought against the NFL Player Association that was headlined by former Viking Carl Eller was dismissed by a St. Paul judge. The retired players’ lawyer called the dismissal “a sad commentary on the functioning of the union, and it’s an even sadder commentary on the richest pro sport in the country.”
