Bears sign guard Chilo Rachal
The Chicago Bears have signed free agent guard Chilo Rachal, according to a tweet by Ian Rapoport earlier today.
Drafted in the 2nd round of the 2008 NFL draft by San Francisco, Rachal has spent his entire career with the 49ers until now. He participated in 55 out of a possible 64 games, starting in 38 of them.

According to multiple reports, the Chicago Bears have signed veteran offensive guard Chilo Rachal to a 1-year contract. Terms were undisclosed; however, there’s a good chance it was for the veteran minimum. Basically I assume that because the Bears don’t have cap space for a more hefty contract.

A report from Ian Rapoport a reporter with the NFL network says the Bears have signed former 49ers offensive guard Chilo Rachal to a one year contract. Rachal was a strong run blocker in 2010 but lost his starting job at the end of the 2011 season.
