Tom Pelissero of USA Today reports that the Lions have tendered offers to exclusive rights free agents CB Chris Greenwood, WR Jeremy Ross, LB Julian Stanford and TE Matt Veldman.
Tim Twentyman also reports that Lions extended an exclusive rights free agent tender to WR Kris Durham.
Pelissero mentions that Greenwood,Ross and Stanford will receive $570,000 each for the 2014 season...
With the developing lack of depth along the Cowboys defensive line, the team has gone out and signed defensive end Jarius Wynn.
In order to make room for Wynn, the team also released defensive lineman David Carter and cornerback Chris Greenwood. The Boys also signed running back Davin Maggett to the practice squad.

The Detroit Lions have signed former New York Jets cornerback Justin Miller as they try to fill a position weakened by their dismissal of the legally challenged Aaron Berry and the loss to injury of Chris Greenwood.
The Lions said Wednesday that they signed Miller and cut wide receiver Marcus Harris.
Miller was drafted by the Jets in 2005 and last played for the team in 2009.

Monday the Lions tied up their final loose end from this past draft when they signed Riley Reiff to a four-year rookie contract worth and estimated $8 million dollars with $6.5 million guaranteed.
