Seahawks re-sign free agent Chris Maragos to one-year deal
The Seattle Seahawks have re-signed safety Chris Maragos to a one-year deal worth $1.323 million.
Maragos, 26, is not much of a contributor on defense but the Seahawks value his play of special teams.
The 2013 season will be the fourth in the career of Maragos who has spent the last two seasons with the Seahawks after starting his career with the 49ers.

But since being activated Oct. 22 for the Cleveland game, the Wisconsin native has made the most of his opportunities, serving as a key special teams player and backing up Seattle’s best defensive player, Earl Thomas. Maragos walked on at both Western Michigan and Wisconsin...

A 2009 seventh-round pick out of Cal, Morrah caught nine passes for 117 yards in 15 games in 2010, but opened this season on the PUP list due to a toe injury. With Zach Miller ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns, Morrah is expected...
