Someone used a laser at that Lions-Bills game last weekend and it the incident is being investigated by the league.
According to Dan Hanzus of NFL.com, Buffalo quarterback Kyle Orton and holder Colton Schmidt during the Bills 17-14 win. Schmidt was hit with the laser while holding on a third quarter field goal attempt by kicker Dan Carpenter.

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Bills have signed P Colton Schmidt to a contract on Saturday.
Schmidt, 23, previously signed a three-year contract with the 49ers, but lasted a little over a month with the team before he was placed on waivers. The Browns claimed shortly after, but once again cut him loose after just a few days.
