The Tennessee Titans have released kick returner Darius Reynaud a day after he fumbled a punt in a loss against San Francisco, stopping an attempted fourth-quarter rally.

Poor Darius Reynaud. The Tennessee Titans kick returner thought he was being a responsible returner by taking a knee and what he though was the touchback on the opening kick of the game, but instead that knee gave the Pittsburgh Steelers their first two points of the season!
You have to appreciate wanting to give his team decent field position by taking a knee; I'm assuming...

The Titans continued doing business on Thursday, re-signing return man Darius Reynaud to a one-year deal. Jim Wyatt indicated Reynaud will make roughly $1 million.
Reynaud did a pretty good job on punt and kick returns in 2012, leading the league in Football Outsiders' punt return value metric. I covered his effect on field position in some detail, so I won't rehash that...
MIRACLE, PT. 2
This may not be as fancy as the Music City Miracle, but it definitely got the job done. Tommy Campbell of the Tennessee Titans took a cross field lateral from Darius Reynaud and took it to the house for a touchdown. Campbell was officially credited with a 65-yard punt return TD on the play and the score and it put the Lions up 9-6 in the first quarter.
