Redskins Re-Sign FB Darrel Young
The Redskins have retained another one of their restricted free agents, signing fullback Darrel Young to a deal Saturday afternoon, a person with knowledge of the situation said.
Youngs contract includes a $1 million signing bonus and, including incentives, could earn him up to $6.2 million over three seasons.

In the last two weeks Darrel Young has gone from an unsung hero in the blocking game, to being a weapon and playmaker on offense. On the Redskins touchdown drive early in the second quarter, Young caught two passes for 33 yards. At the time, he was the team’s top receiver, and it was Young’s top receiving day, ever.
