Donald Brown Available For Tonight’s Game?
Philip B. Wilson of the Indianapolis Star believes that Colts running back Donald Brown will try to play tonight against the Jaguars.
“He came out early last week after one 7-yard reception, so he’s had more time to rest the knee,” writes Wilson. “He also didn’t practice all week. The guess is he will try to play. EXPECTED TO PLAY.”
It’s a bold prediction on Wilson’s...
AP: Colts RB Donald Brown making most of 2nd chance
Gosh dang it, Donald. We're sorry. 1742 career rushing yards (mostly as a backup) with a 4.2 average ypc, a vast majority of those yards coming after contact, and the hard-charging Donald Brown still gets a bad rap. (Bear with me, the link is coming)
Michael Marot of the Associated Press did a story on Donald Brown's resurgence, which many believe is thanks in part to...
Donald Brown might miss one more game
According to Phillip B. Wilson of the Indy Star, Colts interim head coach Bruce Arians says that running back Donald Brown is close to returning to the field.Wilson said that it sounds like Arians doesn’t expect Brown to be back for another week. Colts Injury Report: Donald Brown, Robert Mathis
The Indianapolis Colts will be without two starters this
weekend when they take on the New York Jets; running back Donald Brown and
linebacker Robert Mathis.
Brown will miss two to three weeks after tearing cartilage
in his knee. He underwent surgery Tuesday to repair the damage. The 25-year-old
was injured during last weekend’s contests against the Green Bay Packers...
Matchup of the week: Donald Brown vs. Jaguars' run defense
Donald Brown has heard his share of criticism during his time as a member of the Indianapolis Colts. A lot was expected when the Colts drafted him out of UConn in the first round of the 2009 NFL draft, and to this point, Brown hasn't put up the numbers one would expect from a first round pick, especially when compared to LeSean McCoy of the Eagles who was taken in the second...
Players We Watched: RB Donald Brown
Donald Brown enters his fourth season in the NFL as the starting running back, the first time in his career he has held any type of grip on that spot. Brown showed us last season just what he could do when given snaps.
Now, entering a season where he should have every opportunity to prove his worth, Brown has all the pressure squarely on his shoulders. With young running backs...
Running Back Pass Protection: Donald Brown is the Biggest Bust Of All Time
In case you're wondering, Brown is not the biggest bust of all time. There's your daily dose of irony, sarcasm, and blatant lying right there.
If you've read my work for any period of time, you'll know that I've been a big defender of Donald Brown. Most Colts fans have been extremely critical of Brown, especially after his first two years in the league, where...
The Case for Donald Brown
As much disdain that Donald Brown as received in the past three years, I am of the firm opinion that he does not deserve a large portion of it. Fans have been down on Brown ever since his draft day, where running back wasn't a huge need, and other play-makers were in position to picked (such as Hakeem Nicks). Brown is often seen by Colts fans as a player who is weak, can'...
Dan Orlovsky Has Been Living with Donald Brown Rent-Free
When Donald Brown broke an 80-yard touchdown run against the Titans on Sunday, it marked one of the lone bright spots in a season that has been one of the most depressing in Indianapolis Colts history. The Colts finally picked up their first win of the year on their 14th try, one that also happened to the first of Dan Orlovsky’s career as an NFL starter. Orlovsky even threw a block...
