Chargers re-sign Wells, Gatson

Offensive lineman Reggie Wells was re-signed by the Chargers after being released last week. Cornerback Greg Gatson, who was signed off the practice squad for Sunday's game and released again Monday, was re-signed to the practice squad. He has played in San Diego's past two games.

Chargers promote Gatson, release Wells

Cornerback Greg Gatson was signed by the Chargers off their practice squad, and the team released veteran offensive lineman Reggie Wells. The 5-11, 170-pound Gatson joined the active roster prior to last week's game as well. He was signed in May as an undrafted rookie from Arkansas.

The San Diego Chargers signed cornerback Greg Gatson from the practice squad with cornerback Quentin Jammer nursing a broken hand, the team announced Saturday.
