Rams place rookie WR Salas on IR
The St. Louis Rams lost rookie wide receiver Greg Salas on season-ending injured reserve Tuesday with a broken leg.Salas suffered a fractured left fibula suffered in the fourth quarter of Sunday's overtime loss at Arizona.
A fourth-round pick out of Hawaii, Salas had seven catches for 59 yards in the contest. He finished his first season with 27 receptions for 264 yards in six games.
