Monday has been a rough day for the St. Louis Rams veteran players. Defensive end James Hall is getting his walking papers from the team along with a handful of other veterans, according to Jim Thomas of the Post-Dispatch. James Hall was the most surprising cut of the bunch. Hall is a 35-year old veteran holdover from the previous regime, the previous two regimes actually since he...
James Hall goes for the strip and gets nothing. Donnie Jones needs 10 yards on a fake punt and gets 9.
Two big whiffs in another dispiriting loss that's put the lowly St. Louis Rams in the running for the No. 1 overall draft pick for the second time in three seasons.

Defensive end James Hall could miss the remaining two games of the season after suffering an ankle injury in Sunday's loss to Cincinnati, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Hall would be missed by IDP owners as he collected 44 tackles and five sacks, but there is no need for the Rams to push the 34-year-old vet with a dismal 2-12 record.
There are obvious matchups to watch in this game: how well our tackles protect against Chris Long, James Hall, and Robert Quinn (3 pretty good pass rushers); how well Lynch plays against the worst rush defense in the NFL; if our DE’s can finally get some sacks. The Rams could get some credit, and the Browns some blame, for the missed field-goal attempt that sealed the Rams' 13-12 victory Sunday in Cleveland. Turns out that defensive end James Hall got an arm on the ball, which missed wide left by a half-foot from 22 yards. Coach Steve Spagnuolo credited special teams coach Tom McMahon with making an adjustment that allowed Gary Gibson...

Maybe the St. Louis Rams made their own luck.
Coach Steve Spagnuolo said Monday that game tape showed defensive end James Hall getting a piece of Cleveland's blown field goal near the end of their 13-12 victory over the Browns.
Attention focused on the snap from Ryan Pontbriand that glanced off a lineman's leg and then fluttered back to holder Brad Maynard. He still got...
