Undrafted free agent quarterback Tommy Rees and safety Jose Gumbs were the highest profile names released.
Rees spent his college career at Notre Dame before going undrafted this year. He later signed on with the Redskins but was not long for the roster.

Zac Boyer of the Washington Times reports that the Redskins have re-signed S Jose Gumbs to a one-year deal worth $495,000.
Gumbs, 25, originally signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Monmouth back in 2012. He signed with the Redskins last July and wound up appearing in eight games for them this past season totaling six tackles and an interception.
