Staph Infection Lands Redskins LB Keyaron Fox In Hospital
Washington Redskins linebacker Keyaron Fox spent a week in the hospital because of a staph infection on his knee. Fox had not played since the Week 9 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in which he recorded three tackles. He was released from the hospital late Monday afternoon according to head coach Mike Shanahan. Keyaron Fox fills in for Rocky McIntosh
After losing players to season-ending injuries in each of their previous two games, the Redskins suffered only wounds of the emotional variety in their 23-0 loss to the Buffalo Bills Sunday.
