Bills cornerback and return specialist Leodis McKelvin has been placed on injured reserve because of a groin injury.
Buffalo signed linebacker Kirk Morrison back to the team after releasing him on Dec. 3 after he was inactive for 12 games. 30-year-old made 7 tackles for the Bills in 2011 after spending six years with Oakland and Jacksonville.

The Buffalo Bills have released veteran linebacker Kirk Morrison, who became the odd-man out on a team needing to fill holes on a banged-up offensive line.
The move was announced Monday, shortly after coach Chan Gailey said the Bills were contemplating making a roster move to free up space after losing two starting linemen in a 34-18 win over Jacksonville.

Linebacker Kirk Morrison was released by the Buffalo Bills, who needed to create a roster spot with center Eric Wood out indefinitely and offensive tackle Chris Hairston also banged up. Wood suffered a torn MCL and could be done for the season, while Hairston's status for Sunday's game against St. Louis is in doubt. "We'll probably have to make some kind of...
In a blog post made by Chris Brown today, Dave Wannstedt stated that he sees safety-turned-linebacker Bryan Scott as a starter in their defense, given that he will be the linebacker next to Nick Barnett in the nickel. Scott, who has switched between the two positions over the past few seasons, was made a full-time linebacker earlier in this offseason.
This certainly isn’t breaking...
Per Dave Wannstedt, Arthur Moats is currently our starting SLB and has beaten out Kirk Morrison to this point.
They are adding a 24 year old LB to the starting lineup with a unique set of pass rushing skills, a great move for the team in my opinion. Moats has 5.5 sacks in the league in his first two seasons, including breaking Brett Favre’s consecutive games starting streak...

Here’s a feature on Bills LB Kirk Morrison from ProPlayerInsiders.com. Morrison is an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
Will the real Kirk Morrison please stand up? After a number change when Kirk Morrison was traded from Oakland to Buffalo earlier this year, the veteran linebacker wanted to change his Twitter handle from @KirkMorrison55 to @KirkMorrison… only problem was 20-year old Canadian student Kirk Morrison was already tweeting under @KirkMorrison.
How much was the Twitter handle worth...
The Kirk Morrisons of the world certainly stick together.
And there will be two of them meeting for the first time and wearing Morrison No. 58 Bills jerseys at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Sunday, when Buffalo (5-2) hosts the New York Jets (4-3) in a midseason AFC East showdown.
''I'm pumped up about it,'' Kirk Morrison, the Bills linebacker said.
