Leonard Hankerson underwent hip surgery
Washington Redskins wide receiver Leonard Hankerson underwent hip surgery this past Tuesday, according to The Washington Times.
Hankerson suffered a torn labrum in his right hip back on November 13th and was holding out hope that he wouldn’t be forced to have surgery.

Redskins wide receiver Leonard Hankerson has surgery on hip
Washington Redskins wide receiver Leonard Hankerson had surgery to repair a torn labrum in his hip last Tuesday after nearly three months of rehabilitation failed to correct the problem.
Hankerson, whom Washington selected in the third round of the 2011 draft out of the University of Miami, announced the news on his Twitter account (@HankTime85).

Washington Redskins rookie receiver Leonard Hankerson is out for the year after hurting his right hip in his first NFL 100-yard game.

Leonard Hankerson records his first catch
A week after his first pass route in an official NFL game ended in an interception, thanks to a miscommunication between him and quarterback John Beck, Redskins rookie wide receiver Leonard Hankerson did better, recording the first catch of his career.
