LOUSAKA POLITE RUMORS

Falcons Make Change at Fullback

The Falcons have made another roster move this week. This time they have cut Lousaka Polite and have re-signed Mike Cox. For a team that passes roughly 60% of the time, the Falcons sure have made some moves at FB this year. It started back in May when starter Ovie Mughelli became a salary cap casualty. In August, the Falcons put rookie Bradie Ewing on injured reserve and...

Is Replay Really Worth It?

As I watched the Falcons and the Bengals tonight, I was watching former Pitt Star Lousaka Polite score a Touchdown and the fans had to resort to a golf clap.   They new a review was coming so the excitement on that particular play was tempered.   This same scenario plays out every week in Football, Hockey, and even Baseball.   I have to ask, Is Replay Really Worth It? Patriots FB Lousaka Polite: “I take pride in making sure nobody I’m supposed to block touches my guy”

Patriots FB Lousaka Polite played fewer than 10 plays on Sunday, which is more than any true fullback has played for the Patriots in years. The Pats simply haven’t had one. Yet there was Polite, drilling Bills linebacker Kelvin Sheppard on the goal line to pave the way for BenJarvus Green-Ellis’ one-yard run. Exactly how it should happen. Back for another week (it seems), Polite...

Lousaka Polite Happy to Join Patriots Despite His 'Dinosaur Position'

FOXBORO, Mass. -- Of all the places where fullback Lousaka Polite figured he could end up, New England might have been near the bottom of the list. Polite's position has become something of a dying breed, and Patriots head coach Bill Belichick hasn't carried a fullback on the roster since 2008 when Heath Evans was still around. Belichick has instead opted for positional versatility...
