Eagles Steal OT Matt Kopa From Patriots Practice Squad
The Eagles signed tackle Matt Kopa off the Pats practice squad today, which means hell count against their active roster for at least three weeks. Kopa is considered a good prospect, and he would have challenged Marcus Cannon for the top backup job in training camp if he didnt suffer a badly sprained ankle. Patriots trade for WR Salas, 7 to practice squad
A day after dumping 22 players from the roster to get down to 53, the Patriots continued making moves today, signing seven players to the practice squad and trading for St. Louis Rams wide receiver Greg Salas. The Rams will get a late 2015 draft pick in return for Salas, who’s rookie season was cut short last year when he broke his fibula in November.
