The Oakland Raiders are expected to release starting cornerback Pat Lee, the San Francisco Chronicle reported Saturday. NBC Sports' Pro Football Talk reported that the move is being made in anticipation of cornerback Ron Bartell's return from a shoulder injury. Lee started the last seven games for Oakland. Bartell was placed on the injury reserve/designated for return...
The Oakland Raiders announced this tuesday that they have signed free agent outside linebacker Vic So’oto, marking another former Packers’ player that was brought by general manager Reggie McKenzie, who spent 17 years in Green Bay in administration duties. So’oto joins cornerbacks Brandian Ross and Pat Lee as ex-Packers currently on the active roster, in [...]
Oakland cornerback Pat Lee is no stranger to coming off the bench in emergency situations.
He did it in the Super Bowl two years ago while with Green Bay, helping the Packers secondary hold on after injuries put Charles Woodson and Sam Shields on the sidelines.
Now he's being asked to do the same for the Raiders - albeit on a significantly smaller stage.
Starter Ron Bartell...

Last season the Oakland Raiders kept nine cornerbacks and safeties on the final 53 man roster. Part one of the cornerbacks series focused on four players the Raiders will count on this season and are in competition for the starting cornerback jobs. Part two will look at the competition for what may be the final defensive back job on the 53 man roster.

GREEN BAY, Wis. After four disappointing seasons in Green Bay, Pat Lee is no longer with the Packers. The 2008 second-round pick signed a one-year deal with the Oakland Raiders.
There was no reason for Green Bay to keep Lee around any longer. He was unable to crack the top-four spots on the cornerback depth chart, sitting well below Sam Shields and Jarrett Bush for the nickel and...
The Oakland Raiders have signed their 4th cornerback of this offseason, Pat Lee. Also, it has been announced that Khalif Barnes has re-signed with the team. Lee is a former second round pick of the Packers. He was expected to come in and learn the ropes from Al Harris and future hall of famer Charles [...]
The Journal Sentinel's Tyler Dunne had an informal Q&A with Pat Lee, who was selected by the Packers in the second round of the 2008 draft. The former Auburn Tiger is tied for the team lead with 12 special-teams tackles.
NOW WE'VE SEEN IT ALL
Honestly, I've never seen a safety on a kickoff return but Green Bay's Pat Lee showed us that it possible to get one. After a Jason Hanson kick, Lee started to go out of the end-zone and then suddenly back-tracked into the end-zone to earn the dubious honor:
The Packers' usual kick returner is Randall Cobb, but he's out with an injury. In stepped Pat Lee, who has completely bungled his kick returns so far today—the most egregious example of which came after Detroit's opening touchdown in which Lee drops the ball out of the end zone, then downs it back in the end zone. It's the easiest...
Defensive back Pat Lee has been ejected from Green Bay's game at Detroit after being involved in a scuffle while covering a punt.
Late in the second quarter Thursday, Lee became entangled with a couple Lions and appeared to take a swing at Detroit's Aaron Berry well after the play was over. It was part of a first half that included 12 penalties - eight by the Lions.
