The Cleveland Browns announced the release of veteran OL Paul McQuistan on Friday, per Adam Caplan.
McQuistan, 31, signed a two-year contract $3 million that included $750,000 guaranteed with the Browns last March.
Releasing McQuistan frees up $1.395 million in available cap space, according to OverTheCap.com. Cleveland will take on $375,000 in dead money from this move.

CLEVELAND (AP) The Browns have agreed to a contract with offensive lineman Paul McQuistan. The free agent is returning to Cleveland after starting 14 games last season for the Super Bowl champion Seahawks.
